Brown
Dorsey
is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida. She
moved to Georgia in 2000. She has accompanied and directed music
ministries in Catholic churches in Georgia, particularly in Savannah
before coming to the Atlanta area. She is currently a graduate student
at AIU in Atlanta. Mrs. Dorsey is an accomplished pianist of 25 years.
She has won numerous music awards. She is also a vocalist who teaches
both piano and voice.
Mrs. Dorsey was born
in New York. Her family moved to Orlando, Florida when she was a
young child. Ms. Brown became a schoolteacher. She has
taught for 17 years and has won numerous awards including "Teacher of
the Year" (more than once). Mrs. Dorsey currently teaches 3rd
grade at Atlanta Youth Academy.
Charlotte
recently married Mr. Thomas Dorsey of Eatonton, Georgia in our

Charlotte is the
mother of two boys who keep her quite busy.
Mrs. Dorsey shares her
gifts and talents with the Christ Our Hope parish family at both the
5:30 PM Saturday vigil mass and on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM Mass. Her
vocal selections touch, soothe, move and inspire the spirit. |
