Mr. Jack Tilson,

Director of Music Ministry

Jack Tilson currently serves as the Music Director for Christ Our Hope Catholic Church.  Mr. Tilson has worked extensively within the Atlanta Archdiocese.  Prior to this current position, Mr. Tilson served as Director of Music for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, LA, St. Francis Xavier, Catholic Church of Baton Rouge, LA, Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church of Decatur GA.  Mr. Tilson has done workshops throughout the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean.  Mr. Tilson served as director the Archbishop Lyke Mass Memorial Choir, who performed and recorded his "Heritage Mass."  Mr. Tilson's musical compositions and style incorporates the eclectic experiences and styles of Diaspora descendants in a soulful, solemn, up-lifting and spirited manner.

Mr. Tilson has formally studied piano with Leonidas Lipovetsky, conducting with Andre' Thomas, voice with the late Betty Jane Grimm.  Mr. Tilson obtained a B.A. in Music from Florida State University, where he conducted post-graduate work as well.  Mr. Tilson also has a Masters in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University, and a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University.  Mr. Tilson is currently employed by the City of Atlanta as an Associate City Attorney in the Commercial Transactions Group.

Mr. Tilson conducts choir and musicians at the 11:00 AM Mass at Christ Our Hope parish.
