Christ Our Hope Teens Mission: To help teens live in sanctifying grace and grow in virtue in the knowledge of our Catholic faith and tradition so that their individual lives and friendships may fearlessly radiate the heart and mind of Christ. Christ Our Hope Teens will meet on Sunday afternoons 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM in the parish hall for prayer, fellowship and service to our parish family and our community. Our teens participate in a variety of activities including retreats, participate in liturgical dances, produce and perform dance routines at events, take field trips and special events at the church and offsite.. They have walked for hunger and assisted in events such as Martin Luther King Jr. celebrations in the Archdiocese of which they were recognized by the Archbishop for their service. Teen Mass
Our youth celebrate mass
together on the last Sunday of each month at the when demonstrating the blind man whose sight was restored by his faith, Father Guyma led a few youth around the church one by one, asking them to trust him, as the blind man trusted Jesus... as an example of having faith. Fall Retreat Our teens will participate in a retreat this year. Last year's retreat was a lively and meaningful event. This year it promises to be even more relevant and we are adding another day!

Activities Among the activities this year, Teen Skate Night is Saturday, November 11, 2006. There are a number of places we will be going. Be sure to look at the schedule for this year for the complete list.
Fundraising Our youth participate in a
number of fundraisers during the year to help offset their costs and enable them
to participate in more activities. Last year our teens held car washes, a Christmas
ornament sale, breakfast for the parish and bake sales. This year
we will have more, bigger better events. We hope you will join us as we
support our youth as a parish community!

Sunday, October 15th! The cooks worked tirelessly for hours preparing pancakes, eggs and other breakfast foods. Thanks to all who helped prepare and serve and of course to all parishioners who showed their support by stopping by and staying for a while to enjoy breakfast and fellowship!

Meeting with all Youth Group and Parents Sunday, August 20 After 11:00 AM Mass The meeting was actually brief. Parents and members received a copy of the calendar for this year. Saturday, August 19 12 Noon - 5 pm. We had a great food cooked up especially for us on the grill! We put together our new equipment: A basketball goal, a badminton set and our new ping-pong table! Thanks to our leaders and all who helped make this a great afternoon. The weather was perfect for the BBQ.
Youth Minister & Religious Education Teacher Retreat Saturday, August 12, 2006 9 AM - 3 PM. This exciting, insightful and spirit filled retreat was conducted by Fr. Lee. The retreat began with a call upon our ancestors to help us as we help guide our youth on their spiritual journeys.
