Thea Bowman Visionary Choir - Youth
And Let The
Children Lead Them…
Christ Our Hope
Music Ministry is unique in that it is multigenerational. We
have members from youth to seniors. Parents are encouraged to bring
their children with them to sing and make it true family worship.
In one case, we even had a child bring the parent because he wanted to sing.
We are proud of all our younger members as they give of their time and
talent as they study in school, extra-curricular activities and grow in
their catholic faith.
Our ministry is
enriched by their presence, their voices and their perspectives. To
get into heaven, it is written, one must be able to see through the eyes of
a child… Read on to see no matter how young you are… even a child can lead
the way…Our younger members are …
Chris
is a six year old first grader.. He just says that being in the choir
is “good”. He says “when you get in the choir God gives you good dreams”.
He enjoys leading “This Little Light of Mine!”

Donae is eleven
and a middle school student.. She says she just likes to sing and
would tell anyone who would like to join that choir is really nice to be in.

Brandon is our
newest youth member; you can find him standing proudly among the tenors and
basses singing a joyful noise to the Lord.
Tara and
Stephan were camera shy, but enjoy singing in the alto and tenor sections as
often as they can.
Leah
is an alto also and finds time to sing in the choir when she is not serving
on the altar. She says that it is really lively, we sound good and we
have a good choir director.
Brittany
a shy middle school student likes the choir because the choir is very
energetic. She says “we learn new music at practice every Tuesday and.
Jack is nice”. She added “we have fun!”
Andrew
is our newest member. He is a junior in High School and enjoys singing
in the choir with his dad.

If you'd
like to send them words of encouragement... please
let them know they are appreciated!
