REGISTERED AND ACTIVE MEMBERS OF CHRIST OUR HOPE CATHOLIC CHURCH

In the Archdiocese of Atlanta, it is required that every Catholic be registered and be an active member in a parish (home parish) of registration. Note that if you are not registered in any Church, you are not yet a member. Children under the age of 17can be registered under their parents, while those 18 and above are required to register on their own. The Archdiocese of Atlanta defines “ACTIVE PARISHIONERS” as those who:

 

– have been registered in the parish for at least 6 months

– attend Mass weekly and on holy days of obligation

– contribute financially (in a trackable way) to support the parish and annual appeal.

– contribute time and talent by participating in at least one ministry in the parish.
